ZCV collects information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, file a complaint, or contact our support team. This includes name, email address, phone number, complaint details, and any attachments you submit. We also collect usage data automatically through cookies and similar tracking technologies.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services; process and manage complaints; notify companies of complaints against them; communicate with you about your account; and comply with legal obligations under Zimbabwe's Cyber and Data Protection Act (CDPA) 2021.
We do not sell your personal data. We share complaint information with the company being complained about as part of the resolution process. We may share data with regulators when required by law. All third-party service providers are bound by confidentiality agreements.
Under CDPA 2021, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also object to processing or request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@zcv.co.zw.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations.
